Daily Water Intake Calculator
Daily water intake calculator
This calculator estimates how much fluid you may need in a day from your body weight and your activity. It is a starting point, not a fixed target.
What this result means
This estimate starts from a common guideline of about 33 millilitres of fluid per kilogram of body weight per day, then adds a little for activity and sweating. It is shown in litres.
All fluids count, including water, milk, tea, and soup, and some comes from food. This is a general starting point, not an exact target.
Limits and when to see a doctor
Thirst, climate, illness, and medicine all change how much water you need. In hot Pakistani summers you will need more than this. Vomiting, diarrhoea, and fever raise your need sharply, and in those cases follow your doctor rather than this tool. Some heart and kidney conditions require a fluid limit, and some medicines change fluid balance. If you have any of these, ask a doctor how much to drink. Drinking far more water than your body needs can itself be harmful.
